Green Abundance

Is a 5x7 oil painting on stretched canvas. The canvas is considered to be a 3/d or gallery wrap style. Meaning, that there are no staples on the edges of the canvas. And that the canvas has a thick edge, in this case the edge is 1/2" thick, and is painted to allow for display with no frame. So this original oil is ready to hang or display on an easel.Green Abundance

i love painting food. I have sense I was a little girl. It is just so decadent and full of interesting textures. I think it is so interesting that we forget how beautiful food is. Especially that which comes from the earth. The mere shape of these pea pods, the way they curve and bulge with life, is simply,..lovely. Looking back,..I suppose it is no accident I painted this after my first pregnancy.
