Smoked Chocolates

is my original painting ( colored pencil and pastel). At a size of 12x18", the print is reproduced on an archival professional art printing paper. The thick archival print paper creates a beautiful surface for the final art print. The piece arrives ready to frame.

Smoked Chocolates is a piece of art that came from a simple interest in the texture of a cigar and the equally amazing haze that flows forth once lit. And of course I chose to revisit one of my favorite subjects for lushness and texture,.. chocolate. The idea of the rich darkness of the chocolate related so well to the earthy smoked woodiness of the cigar. What the two subjects combined together elude to I will leave up to the viewer.
